Hishigon
Born in 1973.
In 2017, I, who had never really run before, found myself running more often after participating in a 6-hour endurance relay marathon with some drinking buddies.
Rather than increasing my running speed, I prefer to increase the distance I can run. So, I take it easy on my runs.
Initially, when I started running, it was fun to see my endurance improve, the distance I could run increase, and my weight decrease. I was in good shape and kept up with running. However, at some point, my motivation gradually declined.
Lately, I’ve been a bit sluggish and only run casually on either Saturday or Sunday.
It would be a shame to let my running fade out like this!
What if I added some motivation to continue the running habit? How about sharing information on a blog? With these thoughts in mind, I decided to start a blog.
As of October 2023, I have participated in a few half marathons and one full marathon. I hope to convey the joy of running, especially to those who have just started running or are thinking about giving it a try.
Also, I’m looking forward to introducing the joy of running in Tokyo. In Tokyo, there’s greenery, rivers, historical buildings, and yes, even hills! Tokyo is full of charm. I believe there are various discoveries to be made with each run.
I would be delighted if this blog could be of some reference.
Thank you for your support.
